Poster Presentations
Restoring the West 2026: Bridging Science and Practice invites students to submit abstracts for poster presentations. Poster session participants will have the opportunity to present their work to a diverse audience of researchers, land managers, and practitioners. Presenters can also opt in to having their poster judged to compete for the Restoring the West 2026 Best Student Poster Presentation Awards. In addition, all submitted posters are eligible for the Restoring the West 2026 People's Choice Award.
The Poster Session is scheduled for Thursday, October 22, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Poster space is limited, and all submissions—consisting of a title and a < 250-word abstract—must be received by September 7, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Once submitted, abstracts will be reviewed, and presenters will be notified by September 14. Presenters of accepted posters must be registered for the workshop by September 22.
Any questions about the workshop or poster session can be directed to MarLyn Hill, Staff Assistant, Utah Forest Restoration Institute, at marlyn.hill@usu.edu.
